Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU in a same-day surgery setting. You will provide comprehensive nursing care, follow physician orders, and monitor supplies and medications according to center policies.

The role requires strong collaboration with physicians and team members to ensure safe patient recovery and discharge. The ideal candidate has a valid RN license, at least 3 years in PACU ASC, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum 3 years PACU ASC experience.
• 5 years nursing experience preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a same-day surgery setting.
• Follow physician orders and center policies.
• Monitor and control use and charging of supplies.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Discharge post-operative patients per facility policy.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with physicians and other departments for patient care.
