Los Robles Surgery Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PACU Nurse for PRN shifts in Thousand Oaks, CA. You will deliver postoperative care, monitor vitals, manage airway, and support discharge planning in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifikationen

• Active RN license required by state of employment.
• 1+ year nursing experience in PACU/ICU or Surgery.
• BCLS certification upon employment, online not acceptable.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• PALS as required by facility within 30 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Prepare patients’ care area with required equipment and supplies.
• Demonstrate proper airway management techniques.
• Monitor patients per policy (vital signs, temperature, cardiac, etc.).
• Insert, maintain and remove IV catheters and saline locks.
• Perform head-to-toe evaluation using approved scoring system.
• Check dressings or operative site and report abnormalities.
• Provide a safe, comforting environment for patients and families.
• Ensure patients meet discharge criteria.
