Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities seeks a Wellness Nurse for PRN overnight shifts to support residents’ health through clinical monitoring and coordination with nurses. The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and compassionate care in a senior living setting.

The nurse will administer medications per physician orders, assist with admissions and assessments, document observations, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining a warm, patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN).
• Three (3) years'experience in assessment and geriatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination of the resident admission process including screening, assessment, and care needs.
• Ensure care is delivered as indicated in resident care plans.
• Medication and treatment administration and ensure medications are administered per physicians’ orders.
• Assistance with coordinating care and services with other outside providers including resident physicians.
• Document and report care provided and resident observations including unusual or significant changes.
• Maintain a working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures.
