Job summary

Northpoint Recovery is seeking an Outpatient Therapist/Counselor (PRN) in Boise, ID. You will oversee individual, group and family therapy, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to implement master treatment and discharge plans in an adult outpatient setting.

The role requires a master’s degree, active licensure, and at least 1 year of relevant experience; you will maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards while documenting care and communicating with support staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mental health or social sciences, or equivalent experience.
• Active substance use or mental health licensure in the treating state.
• Maintain licensure requirements during employment.
• 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Ability to work with a diverse population and strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong personal boundaries and ability to build rapport with patients.
• Adherence to licensure board ethics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, assessments and group facilitation to individuals and families.
• Coordinate all aspects of direct clinical care from admission to discharge.
• Consult with the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide quality client care.
• Provide orientation and education to clients, families and others to aid in the therapeutic process.
• Develop written treatment plans with client and family involvement.
• Monitor clients to continually assess needs and facilitate treatment.
• Document assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes.
