Job summary
AdventHealth in Ocala, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our patient care team on a PRN Day shift. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
You will document in the EMR, participate in quality improvement, mentor nursing staff, and uphold infection control and safety standards.
Qualifications
- RN license is required.
- BLS certification required.
- PreOp experience preferred.
- Ability to document clearly in EMR.
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families about conditions and care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team for coordinated care.
- Document care activities accurately in EMR.
- Ensure adherence to policies and infection control standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff.
