Job summary
AdventHealth in Ocala, FL is seeking a Nursing Assistant to assist in delivering patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. You will document procedures accurately and participate in nursing histories, evaluating age-appropriate behavior and physiological norms.
This role requires adherence to safety and PPE guidelines, with opportunities for skill development and growth within the AdventHealth system.
Qualifications
- Must demonstrate ability to provide age-appropriate care for geriatrics, adults, adolescents and pediatrics.
- Accurately record vitals, I&O, glucose results, and dietary tray distribution.
- Able to float between assignments and adapt to different healthcare settings.
- Comply with safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements.

- Assist in delivering patient care under RN supervision.
- Document procedures accurately per department policy.
- Participate in nursing history taking and assess developmental and physiological norms.
- Perform treatments per policy and adapt to age and acuity of patients.
