Job summary

HealthMark Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist/OT for the Tanglewood facility in Topeka, Kansas. You will treat residents and short-term patients, working with an interdisciplinary team on a large campus.

The role requires Kansas OT license, strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to deliver care according to physician orders and plan of care. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling and access to state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Kansas license/certification for Occupational Therapy (OTR).
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to function effectively in a multi-faceted system and interact with staff at all levels.
• Demonstrated time management, problem-solving and clinical judgement.
• Meet physical requirements to deliver responsibilities; geriatric rehab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy services in accordance with physician orders and standards.
• Develops a comprehensive plan of care with measurable goals to support discharge planning.
• Performs skilled treatments as per plan of care across disciplines.
• Documents observations and patient responses within required timeframes.
• Completes all billing and regulatory documentation on the date of service.
• Maintains rehab gym equipment and treatment area with infection prevention practices.
