Job summary

Rivetus Rehab in Columbus, OH seeks a part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (PRN) to deliver therapy under supervision, assisting in treatment plan development and progression for geriatric patients in skilled nursing facilities.

You will document care, coordinate with other disciplines, and contribute to patient discharge planning, while maintaining professional and ethical standards and ensuring quality care.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited OT Assistant program.
• Licensure as required by the State of Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provides occupational therapy treatment to patients according to the established treatment plan under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Contributes to the development, implementation of, and progression of patient treatment and modifies treatment as necessary.
• Completes appropriate documentation and adheres to policies, procedures and current standards of clinical practice.
• Coordinates with other disciplines for effective total patient care.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continued patient care as needed.
