Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Provide OTA-level occupational therapy to patients per care plan.
• Document and maintain medical records for continuity of care.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for total patient care.
• Support discharge planning and patient/family instruction.
• Supervise students and volunteers.
• Represent OT department in care conferences.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are secured.
• Communicate effectively with staff, patients, families.
