Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for White Oak Manor in York, SC. You will collaborate with nursing, therapy, and rehab staff to implement individualized treatment plans and support patient independence.

Role emphasizes documentation, progress monitoring, and patient education within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care across settings.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited school.
• NBCOT Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA.
• New graduates encouraged to apply; prior hospital/clinic/school OT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist, focusing on activities of daily living.
• Monitor and document patient progress, maintaining compliant records and reporting changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and educate patients and families on exercises and adaptive devices.
• Lead or assist with therapeutic activities and tasks to engage patients and promote independence.
