Job summary

HealthMark Rehabilitation in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to serve residents at Park Manor of The Woodlands. Weekday and weekend availability are required.

Provide therapy services per physician orders, develop plans of care with measurable goals, document progress, and ensure timely billing and compliance. Texas OT license and geriatric rehab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas license/certification: OT.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Organizational and analytical skills required.
• Ability to function in multi-faceted systems and interact with all levels of staff.
• Demonstrates time management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize independent clinical judgment and problem-solving.
• Meet physical requirements to deliver responsibilities.
• Experience in a geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Successful completion of hiring process / background check.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy services in accordance with physician’s orders and accepted professional practices.
• Registered therapists develop an overall plan of care with planned duration and measurable goals to support discharge.
• Therapists of all disciplines perform skilled treatments according to the plan of care.
• Documents observations and patient responses within required timeframes.
• Completes all documentation timely and per regulations and policies.
• Completes all billing on the date of service, per regulations.
• Assist with maintaining rehab gym equipment and treatment area with infection prevention methods.
