Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lakeway, TX is seeking an Operating Room RN for PRN shifts (6:30 AM–3:00 PM). This role supports 6 OR suites, neuro, spine, ortho and general cases with advanced equipment (Stealth Navigation, Mazor Robot, O-arm imaging, Da Vinci Robot). You will coordinate care via the nursing process and comply with Texas Nursing Practice Act, collaborating with OR staff. Emergency coverage after hours/weekends.

Qualifications

• RN license required and BLS certification.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience or equivalent PRN experience.
• Texas Nursing Practice Act understanding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Coordinate patient care using the nursing process and ensure safe transitions.
• Delegate interventions based on patient condition and competencies.
• Maintain patient safety and apply evidence-based practices.
