Job summary

Rose Surgical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Operating Room Nurse PRN at our Denver-area ambulatory surgery center. You will contribute your circulating or scrub expertise to ensure safe nursing care and smooth transitions from surgery to recovery.

The role requires RN licensure, at least 1 year of OR experience, and BCLS/ACLS as required; CNOR is preferred. You will oversee instrument setup, coordinate the circulator role, support anesthesia, and maintain compliant documentation

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
• Active RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure.
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable).
• ACLS as required by facility.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee instrument and equipment set-up for the OR and anticipate surgeon’s needs.
• Coordinate and oversee the room during a case as the circulator.
• Facilitate effective and efficient transition between surgical procedures.
• Utilize proper body mechanics when moving patients to stretchers and OR tables.
• Manage patient care and medications, including assistance with anesthesia.
• Review charts for completeness in accordance with documentation protocols.
