Job summary

My Hometown Health is expanding its Occupational Health onsite services and seeks dependable Medical Assistants to join our onsite team across Ohio. This PRN role offers work based on employer onsite events with no guaranteed weekly hours, allowing flexible scheduling and opportunities to work with a range of employers.

Ideal candidates will have Medical Assistant experience, be comfortable traveling within the Ohio region, and enjoy contributing to occupational health services such as onsite

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant experience is required.
• Experience with occupational health tasks such as drug screens, DOT physicals, audiometry, respirator testing, or employer onsite events is a plus.
• Willing to travel within the assigned region and work independently in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers during employer onsite events.
• Perform drug and alcohol testing and urine drug screens.
• Take vital signs and register patients with documentation.
• Assist with DOT and occupational health physicals.
• Conduct hearing and vision screenings; respirator testing support.
• Prepare supplies and equipment and maintain documentation and chain-of-custody.
• Keep onsite events organized and professional, ensuring smooth operations.
