Job summary

Hometown Urgent Care & Occupational Health seeks dependable Medical Assistants for a flexible PRN onsite role across Ohio. You will travel to employer locations, support the clinical team, and perform tests and screenings at onsite events.

This is a lightweight, non-committing position designed to supplement schedules with available opportunities. Ideal candidates are organized, professional, and comfortable working independently as part of a mobile occupational health team.

Qualifications

• Reliable and professional.
• Comfortable traveling to employer locations within their region.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of an onsite clinical team.
• Organized and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent with patients, employers, and coworkers.
• Flexible with scheduling, including occasional early mornings.
• Experienced in occupational health, drug screening, or employer onsite services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers during employer onsite events.
• Perform drug and alcohol testing.
• Collect urine drug screens.
• Record vital signs.
• Register patients and document visit details.
• Assist with DOT and occupational health physicals.
• Support hearing and vision screenings.
• Support respirator/occupational health testing.
• Prepare supplies and equipment for onsite visits.
• Maintain documentation and chain-of-custody procedures.
• Help keep onsite events organized and efficient.
