Inova Schar Cancer Institute in the Washington, DC metro area is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Fair Oaks and Loudoun cancer clinics on a PRN day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. No weekends, no holidays, no call.

This PRN role will serve as a resource for both clinic locations, delivering compassionate, safe patient care and coordinating services with the care team. Qualifications include 1 year RN experience, Virginia RN license, BSN or ADN with BSN within 5 years, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year RN clinical experience.
• Education: BSN or ADN – If ADN then complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• RN license, and eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication; caring demeanor; proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination.
• Deliver safe, holistic patient care and education across the continuum.
• Collaborate with the health care team to coordinate delivery of care.
