Job summary

Inova Schar Cancer Institute in Fairfax is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Thoracic Oncology clinic on a full-time day shift (Mon–Fri, 8:00 am–5:00 pm). The position offers a stable schedule with no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call duties.

As part of a nationally recognized team, you will provide safe, compassionate nursing care, coordinate patient plans, and collaborate closely with physicians, APs, and support staff to deliver high-quality cancer care.

Qualifications

• RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• BSN or ADN; if ADN then complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable and compassionate nursing care.
• Coordinate care plans and patient education.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers and support staff to deliver high-quality cancer care.
