Job summary

Messino Cancer Centers in Franklin and Sylva, NC, is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to support oncology patient care across our two clinics. You will perform patient assessment, review labs and vital signs, verify doses and administer medications, following JBIs and safety protocols.

Active RN license (state or multi-state), current CPR/BLS, and a valid driver's license are required. You will educate patients, document in EMR and participate in triage and care coordination across the

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.
• Unencumbered RN license in state of employment or multi-state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, accurate patient care including assessment, labs review, dose verification and drug administration.
• Triage care and communicate patient condition to the multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications and treatment plan.
• Document thoroughly in EMR and ensure appropriate charges are captured.
• Assist with inventory, supplies, and training of new staff as needed.
