Qualifications

• Licensed as a Staff Occupational Therapy Assistant per state board.
• Proficient in Casamba and Point Click Care software.
• Ability to read and follow therapy plans and policy manuals.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per OT Board.
• Treat patients per the physician treatment plan.
• Assist nursing department with training of Restorative Aides.
• Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress.
• Record evaluations, daily treatment notes and recertification documentation per board/state requirements.
• Instruct families or nursing staff in maintenance and caregiver training for discharge.
• Participate in discharge planning.
