Job summary

Theracare is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (PRN) to provide skilled direct patient care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist in a busy skilled nursing facility in Indiana.

The role requires graduation from an approved OT assistant program, state license eligibility, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. New grads are welcome, with a supportive management staff available for guidance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current or eligible for state license.
• Prefer active AOTA membership (not required).
• Prefer minimum one year experience; new graduates welcome.
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant would perform skilled direct patient care activities under the clinical supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
