Job summary

Park Place Care in Georgetown, Texas is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will plan and administer OT treatments to residents with disabilities, under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

The ideal candidate will hold a Texas OTA license and a COTA credential, have SNF or long-term care experience preferred, and be able to work flexibly.

Qualifications

• Active Texas OTA license required.
• COTA credential required.
• Experience in SNF/long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab
