Job summary

Methodist Senior Services in West Pointe, MS is seeking a passionate PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide skilled OT under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to support residents in achieving independence and quality of life. A MS OTA license and approved program graduation are required; a minimum 1 year rehab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license/certification in Mississippi.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents in improving daily living activities and maximizing independence.
• Accurately document treatments and resident progress.
• Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and other care team members.
• Promote a positive and encouraging therapy experience for residents.
• Support residents in achieving their highest practical level of function and quality of life.
