Job summary

Absolute Rehabilitation and Consulting is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) at Altercare Nobles Pond in North Canton, OH. This role focuses on helping patients perform daily tasks by following plans laid out by an Occupational Therapist, with flexible scheduling and a supportive team.

You will assist with exercises, cognitive activities, and adaptive equipment, monitor progress, and relay updates to the supervising OT to adjust plans as needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist, focusing on improving patients’ ability to perform daily tasks.
• Assist patients with therapeutic activities, including exercises, cognitive training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising Occupational Therapist for plan adjustments.
• Foster a supportive and engaging environment to encourage patients' participation in therapy.
