Job summary

Altercare Wadsworth is looking for a Part-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support patient care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. This PRN role offers flexibility with weekday and weekend hours across multiple facilities, and no minimum hourly requirement.

You will carry out treatment plans, assist patients with exercises and adaptive equipment, monitor progress, and provide feedback for plan adjustments in a friendly, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Assist with therapy plans under supervision of OT.
• Support patients in daily activities and adaptive equipment use.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans with OT.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist, focusing on improving patients' ability to perform daily tasks.
• Assist patients with therapeutic activities, including exercises, cognitive training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising Occupational Therapist for plan adjustments.
• Foster a supportive and engaging environment to encourage patients' participation in therapy.
