Job summary

Absolute Rehabilitation and Consulting is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support therapy services at Brethren Care Village in Ashland, OH. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling in a patient-centered environment focused on daily functional improvement.

The OTA will carry out plans under supervision, assist with exercises and adaptive activities, monitor progress, and help create an engaging therapeutic experience for residents and patients.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist, focusing on improving patients’ ability to perform daily tasks.
• Assist patients with therapeutic activities, including exercises, cognitive training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising Occupational Therapist for plan adjustments.
• Foster a supportive and engaging environment to encourage patients' participation in therapy.
