Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified occupational therapy assistant to join our dynamic team. Working under an occupational therapist, you will support treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.

You will document patient responses, communicate with the OT, Director of Rehab, and facility staff, and help operate standard occupational therapy equipment to deliver quality care and achieve functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
