Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. As an Enhance Rehabilitation OTA, you will work under the guidance of an occupational therapist to help treat patients based on individualized plans of care.

You will assist in facilitating OT treatment, documenting patient progress, and communicating with the supervising OT and rehab staff to ensure consistent, quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified occupational therapy assistant.
• Experience in rehab settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment with excellent functional outcomes.
• Develop and implement OT treatment programs with guidance from the OT.
• Assist patients with all phases of OT treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record conditions and responses after each visit.
• Provide ongoing communication with the OT, Rehab Director, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard OT equipment.

In this role, you’ll assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.

• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.

• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
