Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Mascoutah, IL is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. You will work under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist to support patients through individualized plans of care and achieve functional outcomes.

You will assist with all phases of therapy, discuss treatments with patients, document progress, and maintain open communication with the OT, Rehab Director, and facility staff.

Qualifications

• Qualified occupational therapy assistant with credentialed training.
• Ability to follow an individualized plan of care under an Occupational Therapist.
• Strong communication and teamwork with therapists and facility staff.

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.

As an Enhance Rehabilitation occupational therapist assistant, working under the guidance of an occupational therapist, you will be a part of growing team.
