Job summary

Saint Luke's South Hospital is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team. The OT evaluates and assesses the ongoing effects of occupational therapy interventions for clients across the lifespan, addressing physical, emotional, and environmental needs to restore independence.

The OT develops individualized treatment plans, provides recommendations on adaptive equipment, and collaborates with the care team.

Qualifications

Must hold Kansas OT license.
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) required.

Responsibilities

Evaluates clients after impairment, injury, or disease.
Creates individualized treatment plans and selects interventions based on evaluation.
Re-evaluates progress and participates in discharge planning.
Supervises students and occupational therapy assistants.
Collaborates with the interdisciplinary health care team on client care interventions.
Delegates and instructs supportive personnel.
Performs duties as requested by the manager.
Documents timely and per policy for insurance and licensing requirements.
Maintains safety for self, clients, and others.
Completes department-level projects and serves as a clinical resource.
Participates in quality initiatives and follows facility guidelines for shift requirements.
