Responsibilities

• Evaluates clients after impairment, injury, or disease.
• Creates an individualized treatment plan and selects interventions based on evaluation.
• Re-evaluates and reassesses client progress and contributes to discharge planning.
• Supervises students and occupational therapy assistants.
• Participates in interdisciplinary care planning and recommends interventions.
• Delegates and instructs supportive personnel.
• Ensures timely documentation and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Maintains safety and acts as a clinical resource within the department.
