Job summary

Medical City Fort Worth is seeking an Occupational Therapist (PRN) to join our multidisciplinary team. You will evaluate patients, design customized therapy plans, and deliver hands-on, evidence-based interventions to restore independence and quality of life.

You will monitor progress, adjust treatment, and educate families to support recovery. You will collaborate with physicians and care partners to ensure safe transitions and exceptional patient experiences while mentoring therapy assistants

Qualifications

• OT Texas license required.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate each patient's functional abilities and needs; develop individualized therapy plans with physicians and the care team.
• Deliver skilled, evidence-based interventions to promote healing, independence, and quality of life.
• Monitor patient progress; adjust plans as needed; document outcomes thoroughly and timely.
• Educate patients and families to build understanding and engagement throughout recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to ensure safe transitions of care and positive patient experiences.
• Lead and mentor therapy assistants or students, upholding HCA Healthcare’s mission and standards.
