Job summary

Medical City McKinney, part of the Medical City Healthcare family within the HCA Healthcare network, is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist. You will assess patients, design individualized therapy plans, and deliver hands-on interventions to restore independence and quality of life.

You will collaborate with physicians and the care team, monitor progress, document outcomes, and educate patients and families to empower recovery.

Qualifications

• OT license/registration required or as per state regulations.
• Experience delivering occupational therapy interventions.
• Ability to collaborate with a care team and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop therapy plans with the team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to promote healing and independence.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and document outcomes thoroughly.
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and engagement.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners for safe transitions of care.
• Mentor therapy assistants or students and uphold quality standards.
