Job summary

Medical City Fort Worth, part of the HCA Healthcare network, is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join its inpatient rehabilitation team.

You will evaluate patients, create personalized therapy plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to restore independence. Collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, document progress, and support transitions of care while mentoring assistants.

TX license, BLS, and a degree in OT required; at least 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• OT licensed in Texas (TX OT license) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans with the care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to promote healing, independence, and quality of life.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and document outcomes thoroughly.
• Educate patients and families to build understanding and engagement in recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to ensure safe transitions of care.
• Lead by example, mentoring therapy assistants or students and upholding HCA Healthcare’s mission and standards.
