Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Memphis East in Memphis, TN is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for PRN/per diem work on weekdays. The OT will provide compassionate, patient-centered services inside the hospital setting.

Responsibilities include discharge planning, supervising OTAs and students, conducting individualized therapy, monitoring progress, and engaging in continuing education. Requires active OT license and BLS; benefits and potential advancement offered.

Qualifications

• Active OT license in the state.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs), as well as OT and COTA students
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services
