Job summary

Rolling Hills Healthcare in Belle Fourche, SD seeks a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team providing high-quality geriatric rehabilitation and skilled maintenance programming. You will evaluate residents, develop rehab plans, and support staff while upholding Eduro HealthCare values.

This in-person role offers flexible PRN scheduling, training in dementia care, and opportunities to mentor through interdisciplinary collaboration in a compassionate, community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold current and active OT license or registration in state employed.
• Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.
• Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
• Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a Resident’s condition and develop an appropriate occupational rehabilitation plan.
• Help Residents to improve their mobility.
• Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
• Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
• Supervise the activities of occupational therapy assistants when required.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Rolling Hills Healthcare is currently searching for a talented PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team!

We train our therapists in dementia care as well as provide other mentoring as needed in topics like standardized testing, cognitive retraining, family and caregiver training, and skilled maintenance programming.

Occupational Therapist Requirements

• Must hold current and active OT license or registration in state employed.

• Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
• Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
• Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
