Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program; must hold a valid state license.
• Minimum of one year of related experience in hospital, skilled nursing facility, or similar medical facility.
• Demonstrates patience, courtesy and excellent customer service; dependable and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Screen, examine, and evaluate residents to establish diagnoses and plan care.
• Develop and implement treatment goals; document services.
• Supervise assistants, students, and support staff per licensure and standards.
• Attend resident care meetings and contribute to care planning.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and refer to additional services as needed.
• Provide compassionate service to residents and families while maintaining efficiency.
