Job summary

The Arboretum of Winnie in Katy, TX seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) on a PRN basis to join our in-house rehab team. You will improve residents’ independence and quality of life through meaningful daily activities and functional outcomes.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Prior SNF experience and Texas OT license are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Occupational Therapy license is required.
• Experience in SNF or long-term care is preferred.
• Knowledge of OT treatment practices is current.
• Experience with Net Health EHR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to evaluate their physical condition and impact on daily activities.
• Assess and interpret patient evaluations and test results.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize ADLs/IADLs.
• Assess living environments and recommend modifications for safety and independence.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and train patients and caregivers.
• Deliver treatments according to the plan of care and monitor response.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Document thoroughly and timely per policies and regulations.
