Qualifications

• OT degree from an AOTA-accredited program.
• Current Virginia and DC OT license requirements.
• CPR certification (adult only).
• Strong compassion, empathy, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document OT evaluations and treatments to improve ADLs and transfers.
• Coordinate care plans with physicians, nurses, and staff; attend care plan meetings.
• Educate residents, families, and team members to ensure exercise compliance and safe tasks.
• Ensure Medicare compliance and accurate billing; support restorative nursing programs.
