Job summary

Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team in Central Virginia. The role offers flexible hours and requires evaluating residents, establishing treatment plans, and ongoing reassessments to determine continued services.

The incumbent will discharge plan to maximize independence and ensure safety in the least restrictive environment. Responsibilities include coordinating equipment needs, completing documentation, and conducting staff in-services

Qualifications

Must have a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Must possess a current NBCOT certification.
Active state license required.
Working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and clinical programs.

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents per MD order and establish treatment plans and goals.
Re-assess patients and caseload to determine need for continued services or discontinuation.
Provide discharge planning to maximize independence in the least restrictive environment.
Identify equipment needs and order equipment per policy.
Complete all required documentation per Guidelines.
Coordinate in-services for facility staff to ensure safe carry over of programs.
Attend Continuing Education courses related to current position.
Maintain professionalism and follow all regulations.
