Job summary

Richwood Nursing & Rehab in Kentucky is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat residents across the facility. You will communicate with families, physicians, and health team members, maintain documentation, and ensure high quality care in line with state practice acts.

Responsibilities include supervising OT assistants, participating in care conferences, and facilitating discharge planning while maintaining compliance with payer requirements and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and state licensure.
• Ability to read and follow physician treatment plans.
• Experience documenting in electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents within 24 hours of physician referral.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and obtain physician approval.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and assist with discharge planning.
