Job summary

Lexington Premier Nursing & Rehab is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide therapeutic services in a skilled nursing facility in Lexington, KY. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving daily living activities and overall rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or certification as an OTA.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans as developed by the Occupational Therapist. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, activities, and functional tasks.
• Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist and care team to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on strategies to improve daily functioning and independence.
• Assist with scheduling and equipment management; participate in quality improvement initiatives.
