Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for acute care, under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, ROM, and strength-building programs to restore function.

You will establish relationships with patients and collaborate with clinicians to support rehab goals while contributing to community outreach and care delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved occupational therapist assistant program.
• State Licensure.
• Basic Life Support Certification via the American Heart Association.

• Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients
• Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goals

Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Occupational Therapist in the practice of occupational therapy to include development deficits, activities of daily living work conditioning, range of motion, coordination, balance endurance, cognition, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength.

Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position
