Job summary

PT Solutions in Calhoun, GA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to support acute care rehabilitation. You will assist an Occupational Therapist, prepare equipment, and help patients reach their functional goals while collaborating with hospital staff.

This PRN role requires 2 weekend day shifts per month and holiday coverage, with pay of $40 per hour. PT Solutions supports your growth with evidence-based education, mentorship, and opportunities within Advent

Qualifications

• Graduate ACOTE approved occupational therapy assistant program.
• Current or pending state licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities.
• Establish strong relationships with each patient to help exceed functional goals.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, families, fellow clinicians, and hospital staff.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (physicians, case management, nurses, etc.).
