Job summary

Rehab in Motion, an affiliate of Rehab Without Walls, seeks a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant in Little Rock. You will assist the OT with treatment implementation, administer exercises to improve strength and mobility, and document patient progress within a multidisciplinary team.

This role requires OTA certification, CPR, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; prior geriatrics/home health exposure is preferred. New grads are welcome to apply, with health screenings as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program.
• Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification in state of practice.
• Current Live CPR Certification.
• Two-step TB skin test required.
• Proof of Auto Insurance.
• Knowledge of evidence based therapy interventions.
• Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics and/or home health.
• One year preferred.
• New grads encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Occupational Therapist in the implementation of treatment intervention
• Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients; strength, mobility and function.
• Providing training to individuals and any others involved in their rehabilitation, and documenting results of the training
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Supporting individuals' plan of treatment by documenting and reporting status changes to the multi-disciplinary team members as appropriate
• Other duties as assigned
