Job summary

PruittHealth in Peachtree City, GA is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a PRN role in our ALF setting. You will provide therapeutic services to promote independence and quality of life for residents.

You will evaluate ADLs, develop treatment plans to improve independence, recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and educate patients and caregivers on functional strategies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapist license in the state.
• Experience in rehabilitation, SNF, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Develop treatment plans that enhance independence and functional performance.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Address cognitive, physical, and sensory limitations impacting daily function.
