Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our ALF team in Georgia. You will evaluate residents, implement treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff in a post-acute care environment.

This PRN schedule offers flexibility while delivering high-quality therapy services. The role requires an active OT license in Georgia, NBCOT eligibility, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Active OT licensure in the state of practice
• Graduate of ACOTE accredited program; NBCOT eligible
• Excellent documentation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments per OT care plan
• Document timely and accurate records
• Follow policies and scope of practice
• Identify priorities in patient care and act with sound judgment
• Complete orientations, trainings, and required in-services

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized occupational therapy care plan
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care showing initiative and sound judgment
• Complete all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner
• Performs other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid professional OT license in the state of practice
• Graduate of ACOTE accredited school and eligible to take or has passed the NBCOT exams (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy). If foreign-trained, must meet the same qualifications as U.S. educational program requirements
