Job summary

Vetted Solutions seeks a Licensed Occupational Therapist to provide PRN rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing and rehab facility. You will evaluate and treat geriatric patients with complex needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and work with an interdisciplinary team to promote mobility and independence.

Responsibilities include documenting care, collaborating with nurses, physicians, SLPs, and PTs, and adapting to variable schedules and patient acuity.

Qualifications

• Current NY license and registration as an OT; malpractice insurance in place.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, compassionate, patient and flexible; excellent communication and organization.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively; adapt to varying schedules and patient needs.

Job description

Role: Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) providing PRN (as-needed) rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing and rehab facility.

• Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat geriatric patients with complex medical, cognitive, and functional needs; develop individualized treatment plans to enhance mobility, daily living skills, and independence; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, physicians, speech therapists, and physical therapists to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care; provide adaptive equipment training, fall prevention strategies, and patient/caregiver education; ensure high-quality, compassionate care across variable schedules and patient acuity levels.
• Key Duties: Plan, organize, develop, and implement occupational therapy services in compliance with federal, state, and local standards; maintain documentation; work independently and within team environments; adapt to different patient needs and work pressures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current NY license and registration as an OT; current malpractice insurance; license in good standing.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, compassionate, patient, and flexible; excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively; adapt to varying schedules and patient needs; committed to quality care.
