Job summary

Therapeutic Focus, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric team. This PRN, in-person role will provide therapy services at one of our Memphis partner schools, focusing on safe, ethical and individualized treatment plans.

The candidate will work with a interdisciplinary team to alleviate developmental needs in children. The position requires a Tennessee license for Occupational Therapy and a strong ability to document care using electronic health records,

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Proficient in clinical documentation and basic computer use.
• Knowledge of electronic health records and internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial patient assessment and develops treatment plans.
• Implements patient treatments based on assessment and written plan.
• Provides ongoing patient assessment through observation and records review.
• Identifies therapy education needs for patients and families.
• Demonstrates initiative for professional development.

Therapeutic Focus is a family-oriented outpatient pediatric therapy clinic seeking a highly motivated, passionate, coachable, tech savvy and creative Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. Our mission is to alleviate cognitive and developmental deficiencies in children by providing safe, ethical and individualized treatment services that will prepare them to thrive within society. We provide outpatient and school-based therapy to children throughout Arkansas, Tennessee, and Louisiana.

We are currently looking for a PRN, in-person Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide pediatric services at one of our Memphis partner schools.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school
• Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
• Basic Internet navigation skills
• Valid state and national license (where applicable)-Occupational Therapy (Tennessee)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to understand and prepare moderately complex written materials, such as patient records.
• Ability to communicate verbally with Associates, physicians and other outside professionals.
• Ability to work without close supervision and to exercise independent judgment.
• Ability to organize multiple tasks and projects and maintain control of work flow.
