Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a PRN OB/GYN physician to join a team delivering obstetric and gynecologic care across hospital and clinic settings in Colorado. You will cover hospitalist shifts at Platte Valley Hospital and clinic shifts at Brighton, Commerce City, and Thornton locations.

Requirements include MD/DO, ACGME residency in OBGYN, board eligibility or certification, and an active Colorado license or ability to obtain one, plus DEA and BLS.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME accredited residency training in OBGYN.
• Board certification or eligibility in OBGYN.
• Active Colorado medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Federal DEA Registration.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN hospitalist and clinic care on an as-needed basis.
• Shift locations include CO clinics in Brighton, Commerce City, and Thornton.
• OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton with NICU and Baby-Friendly designation.
• MFM on site in Brighton two days per week with 24/7 consult availability.
• Malpractice coverage paid 100% by Intermountain Health.

Job Description:

As a PRN physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

• On an as-needed basis, you will provide care through restricted OB/GYN hospitalist shifts and clinic shifts.
• You may provide care in three of our OB/GYN clinics, located in Brighton, Commerce City, and Thornton, Colorado. All located just North of Denver.
• OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts will be at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, Colorado. Platte Valley is home to a level II NICU and thriving Labor & Delivery Unit. We are a designated Baby-Friendly Hospital, that has been ranked highly in Women's Choice Awards Best Hospitals for Obstetrics and Emergency Care. Anesthesia is available 24/7 in house with backup.
• MFM is onsite in Brighton two days per week and is available 24/7 for consult.
• Clinic shifts are generally 8-hours in length, at a rate of $1,528.00.
• OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts are 12-hours in length at a pay rate of $2,143.00. If desired, they can be stacked and taken in 24-hour increments.
• Your malpractice coverage will be paid 100% by Intermountain Health.

Whatyou'llbring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

• Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
