Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program is required.
• RN licensure in North Carolina and certification as a Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board is required.
• Current CPR Certification – ACLS, BLS.
• Ability to demonstrate clinical competency within scope of privileges.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care during OB procedures using safe techniques.
• Support patient safety, quality improvement and infection prevention.
• Document and maintain confidential records per standards.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility and readiness to provide patient care.
• Demonstrate professionalism through teamwork and ongoing education.
• Conserve resources to manage costs.
